The Unity in Arts project is an Erasmus+ initiative aimed at promoting the social integration of young individuals with special needs through music and dance. By offering workshops in Latin American and Ballroom dance, Hip Hop, and music, the project helps participants develop social skills, build confidence, and improve physical coordination. A key output of the project is the Digital Audio-Video Guide, produced by EurAV, which provides educators and caregivers with instructional resources for integrating these art forms into their programs. Through inclusive performances and creative learning, Unity in Arts fosters a sense of belonging and personal growth, ensuring long-term benefits for participants and their communities.
The “Music Link” project, part of the Erasmus+ programme, aims to support teachers, trainers, and tutors in overcoming language and cultural barriers in classrooms, particularly due to the influx of Ukrainian refugees. By developing music-based teaching methods, the project fosters intercultural dialogue and social inclusion. It provides training to educators in Spain and Ireland and shares its resources through an online collaborative platform. The project also produces a digital toolkit, including a video documentary, to support future initiatives. With a focus on capacity building, dissemination, and networking, Music Link strives to equip educators with innovative tools for refugee integration.
The DiSeRA project (DIsinformation of SEniors in Rural Areas) was a media literacy initiative aimed at improving the digital skills of older adults in rural areas across Europe, particularly in Ireland, Italy, Slovakia, and North Macedonia. Funded by the Erasmus+ programme, the project used radio-friendly podcasts, panel discussions, and community workshops to help seniors recognise and manage disinformation. By offering multilingual content and holding sessions in accessible locations like senior centres, DiSeRA ensured inclusivity, targeting marginalised groups and individuals with disabilities. The project’s combination of traditional media and digital tools empowered rural seniors to navigate the digital world more safely
The CASK (Climate Aware Seasonal Kitchen) project, funded by Erasmus+, successfully trained Food Service Industry Professionals (FSIPs) in adopting Sustainable Food Systems (SFSs) by replacing imported, carbon-intensive ingredients with local alternatives. Through a one-day training workshop, FSIPs adapted their menus to reduce environmental impact. The project produced a digital cookbook and ingredient substitution guide, which were distributed to over 50 food service outlets and made available online. This collaboration between Sonairte, EurAV, and the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh) fully achieved its goal of promoting sustainable practices and laid the foundation for future transnational projects
