The green screen studio at EurAV’s Drogheda premises was flipped into a podcast space to host a pilot series of interviews for PODTV – a collaboration between EurAV and the Local Authority Integration Team (LAIT) at Louth County Council.
“It’s a simple concept,” explained EurAV’s Declan Cassidy, who conducted the first of the interviews with Drogheda councillor, Ejiro O’Hare Stratton. “In a media landscape that’s getting more and more complicated, with AI-generated fakes making it difficult to know who or what to trust, we’re stripping it back to a black-box studio with two people talking. It’s honest and straightforward.”
Ejiro spoke of her first impressions of Ireland and its culture of trust and honesty that she encountered when she first arrived as a young member of a religious order, and the changes she’s seen over the decades that she’s been here.
There will be three episodes ‘dropped’ over coming weeks and we’ll make them available here on the site as well as on https://theM1.eu.
