EurAV European Audio Visual CLG is a not-for-profit organisation based in Drogheda, Ireland, dedicated to empowering communities through inclusive media production and education. Our goal is to provide a platform where underrepresented voices can be heard, fostering a sense of community and shared experience through content creation that reflects the diversity of our world.
Founded in 2021, EurAV brings together professionals, volunteers, and community members to create media that matters. Whether it’s television, film, or digital content, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling and its ability to build bridges across cultures and communities.
Our mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of background or circumstance, has the opportunity to tell their story. We achieve this by providing access to training, equipment, and platforms that enable individuals and groups to create, share, and engage with media. Through our work, we promote social inclusion, media literacy, climate awareness, and artistic creativity.
Our work is driven by four core pillars that are deeply embedded in EurAV’s constitution. These pillars guide everything we do and reflect the values that are at the heart of our mission. They are:
At EurAV, we offer a variety of services to help individuals and groups bring their media projects to life. Our resources include:
Whether you’re an experienced media producer, an emerging content creator, or someone who just wants to learn more about the power of media, EurAV offers opportunities to get involved. From volunteering on community projects to participating in media literacy workshops, there’s a role for everyone.
By joining EurAV, you’ll be part of a dynamic, inclusive community that is passionate about the power of media to create positive change. Let’s work together to ensure that everyone has a voice.
We are passionate about creating a media space that reflects the true diversity of our society. By working with minority groups, migrants, refugees, and other underrepresented communities, we ensure that all voices are heard. Through inclusive media projects, we promote multiculturalism, equality, and community cohesion.
EurAV’s commitment to social inclusion involves hands-on media training and collaborative projects with community groups. We focus on amplifying the stories and perspectives of those who are often overlooked, providing them with the skills and platforms to share their experiences and foster mutual understanding across society.
In an age of information overload, understanding media has never been more important. We empower individuals with the tools and knowledge they need to critically engage with media, whether they are creating their own content or consuming it. Media literacy enables people to navigate today’s digital landscape responsibly and effectively.
Through workshops and training sessions, EurAV helps participants develop a deeper understanding of media production and consumption. We cover everything from digital content creation and storytelling to the ethics of media and how to identify reliable sources in a digital age. Our aim is to create media-savvy citizens who can participate in media dialogue with confidence and integrity.
The climate crisis is one of the most significant challenges of our time, and we are committed to using media as a tool for environmental education and advocacy. Through our climate action pillar, we raise awareness, inspire change, and promote sustainable practices at both local and global levels.
EurAV works with environmental organisations and activists to produce content that informs and engages communities on sustainability and environmental issues. From documentaries and interviews to campaigns that promote green living, we believe in the power of media to drive positive action and support climate justice.
Creativity lies at the core of our work. We celebrate the arts as a powerful medium for expression, connection, and transformation. Whether through film, theatre, visual arts, or music, we provide platforms and opportunities for both emerging and established artists to explore new ideas and share their work with wider audiences.
EurAV offers a range of creative projects and workshops, supporting local artists and creatives in producing work that inspires and challenges. From community-driven projects to professional productions, we foster an environment where creativity can flourish, and cultural diversity is celebrated.
